HE-B beams are quadratic (same height and width), which gives the beam a great strength and stiffness. Moreover, the shape of the beam prevents bending of the transverse parts.

Acid resistant steel is alloy steel with 2% molybdenum. Molybdenum is used efficiently to improve hardenability, resistance of hydrogen attack and reducing the chance of corrosion.

Acid-resistant steel can be recommended in swimming pools and in general if the steel is to be permanently or frequently submerged. It is also advantageous to use acid-resistant steel if steel is in direct connection with wood, so that the acid content of the wood does not corrode the steel. Has a lot of applications like reinforcements of a construction for instance.
